Choose by scope
Four defined ways to engage.
Start with the column that describes the business you are now. The tier marked Recommended is the common fit, not an automatic upsell.
Small business, testing headless before committing
Storefront Pilot
$4,999
Fixed fee, 2 stages
A single Hydrogen storefront or Storefront API front end, scoped to prove headless is worth the switch before a full migration is committed to.

- A route-level performance budget
- A component library mapped to your design system
Growing brand, replatforming from a theme
Full Migration
$9,999
Milestone billing, 4 stages
Moving a live, earning storefront to Hydrogen without losing its URLs, its structured data or its rankings — the redirect map is the deliverable everyone forgets and everyone regrets.
- Theme to headless migration

- Performance budgets, enforced in CI
- A complete redirect map, verified line by line
Enterprise, multi-market or multi-brand commerce

Headless commerce composed across markets or brands, with dedicated hosting, delivery and a rollback that takes seconds.
- Hosting and delivery, on Oxygen or your own infrastructure
- Content composed across multiple markets or brands
- Performance budgets per route, per market
- An operational runbook — deploy, roll back, rotate tokens, purge cache

Quoted after the scope call
A storefront programme rather than a single build — several brands or markets on one composable platform, a bespoke front end, or a headless estate you want taken over and run properly. Scoped in writing before a number is given.
- Several brands or markets on one composable platform
- A bespoke front end outside Hydrogen's shape
- Taking over a headless storefront another team built
- A written scope and one fixed number before work starts
All figures are in USD, exclude tax and cover the scope written above. Work outside that scope is quoted before it starts; the contracted figure does not move silently.
Included as standard
The delivery baseline does not change with the tier.
- A storefront repository you own, with preview deploys on every branch
- Structured data parity with the theme you left, checked page type by page type
- A content model your editors can use without a developer
- An operational runbook — deploy, roll back, rotate tokens, purge cache
What moves the scope
Four inputs. No mystery multiplier.
- 01
Catalogue size
Products, templates and content that must be modelled, migrated or rebuilt.

- 02
Markets
Currencies, languages, catalogues and storefronts that must work as one system.

- 03
Integrations
The apps, APIs and operational systems the finished work must connect to.

- 04
Deadline
The only factor that can add cost without adding scope, when the schedule must compress.

How the scope gets set
The price is fixed. The proposal fixes what it covers.
- 01
Tell us where you are
One call, not a pitch - what you have today, what changed, and roughly which of the four shapes above sounds closest.
- 02
We scope it for real
The tier above is the shape; the call is where it gets specific to your store, your stack and your timeline.
- 03
You get one number
A written scope with the agreed price, payment stages and exclusions - not an estimate that drifts once work starts.
Questions
What people ask before choosing a scope.
Are these four tiers the only way to buy Headless Development?
No - they are the four shapes we see most often, from a single-store project through to a multi-store programme. If none of them describes what you need, say so on the call and we scope around it rather than forcing a fit.
Are these fixed prices or starting points?
They are fixed prices for the scope written in each tier, not “from” prices. If your brief falls outside that shape, the proposal states the changed scope and price before any work starts.
What can move the scope?
Four things: catalogue size, market count, integrations and deadline. The first three add work. A compressed deadline can add cost without adding scope because it changes how the team has to be scheduled.
How does billing actually work?
It depends on the tier: Storefront Pilot is fixed fee, 2 stages, Full Migration is milestone billing, 4 stages, Composable Platform is milestone billing, 5 stages, Custom Requirement is quoted after the scope call. The proposal turns those terms into dated invoices before work starts.
What happens right after I get in touch?
Within one business day, we tell you which of the four shapes fits and what we need to confirm the scope. Nothing is billed on that first call.
Not sure which tier fits? Tell us where you are.
One business day, one direct answer: which shape fits, what needs confirming, and the next useful step.
